 Themis Youth Law Advocacy was founded by Dawn J. Post after a lifetime dedicated to child advocacy in the foster care system led to her being invited to Jamaica to advocate for US youth stuck in the ‘troubled teen’ industry system undergoing severe abuse. Once on the ground, she advocated for the safe release and return of the 8 US youths back to the states, fought for the abusers to be held accountable in a court of law, and corralled a dedicated Board of Directors to join her in the fight for child rights and legal advocacy in the ‘troubled teen’ industry.
